Our beginning
Set on 87 natural acres in the Port Stephens Hinterland, our story began here in 2017 with a dream of creating a beautiful destination where people could meet, retreat & connect in nature.
Just over 1.5hours from Sydney, 30mins from Newcastle & Port Stephens, Urban Connection Farm is where the bush meets the sea.
A Growing Story
Our wildflower production was born from a lifelong career in commercial horticulture, that ultimately lead us to establishing our own Wildflower production on this site in 2021.
With a passion for native foliage and flowers, our fields have been enjoyed by many guests who have experienced the serenity and beauty the property has to offer.
Our locations
The barn
The Barn is the primary indoor space. Designed with large sliding doors that open onto the deck, this space is versatile and can be arranged to suit your needs and style.
Complete with air conditioning & fans, this indoor space is suitable for use throughout the seasons.
Tables & chairs are available & may be arranged to suit individual needs.
the cottage
The Urban Connection Farm Cottage has quaint rustic charm. Featuring 3 bedrooms with queen beds, 2 with wardrobes. The cottage has a separate bathroom and toilet with self contained & fully equipped kitchen.
The Cottage is the perfect retreat for small groups, couples, women’s groups and more.
the bushland
When it is time for a break, or simply to unwind, our Nature Walk heads over the creek and through the forest to a large breathtaking clearing at the back of the property.
The walk skirts the edge of our koala habitat, so keep your eyes open and look up, you may spot a furry friend.
We have an abundance of wild life, including water dragons, turtles, kangaroos and deer.
